Hassaan Tanwir — street photographer from Islamabad, Pakistan. An accountant by profession, a photographer by heart. My grandmother always said there is a story in everything — she taught me to see the beauty around me.
For me, photography is an art of observing — finding interesting and unique stories from an ordinary place.
Most of my pictures are grounded in people. I look for the unguarded moments and the essential soul peeking out. Portraits capture the soul — the eyes especially. They carry the stories, the hardships, the joy.
My dream: to show the beauty of Pakistan through my photography — for people to see Pakistan as I see it, not the way they see it in the media.
In 2026 the camera moved indoors — concerts and weddings. Same instinct, new stage: the roar of a crowd, the quiet of a vow, all of it unguarded.
